PROBLEM

Nokia networks had recently designed hardware — a smart-home gateway — and needed a new app to control it.

SOLUTIONS

We completely redesigned the old app with new typography, color-systems, interaction designs, and information architectures.

The Process

I organized the team around a 4-step process: research, ideate, design and deliver. 

During ideation, we experimented with bringing this physical world into the virtual without dated skeuomorphic designs. Ideation started with sketching...

...and led to wireframes...

...and progressed to iterations of visual UI design.
